Fighting the Harpies

1. Head to fight the harpies, they are southeast of where Volo was in the grove, right next to the path to Alfira.

Clearing out the Blighted Village

2. Warp to the Blighted Village, we can take out the goblins here. Start from the guards near the south gate (inside and outside of it).
3. Then you can kill the ones in the middle. Usually easier to position two people on the west roof and two on the east roof so you don't have to run around as much.
4. Then kill the sleeping bugbear.
5. Then open the barn and kill those two.
6. Head to the windmill and kill those as well.

Gnolls and the Paladins of Tyr

7. After Blighted Village is cleared out, we can start clearing out the gnolls. Head east from Waukeen's Rest waypoint to see some hyenas on the road.
8. Kill the hyena first so he doesn't go get the gnolls, then try to kill the ones on the ground before they turn into gnolls, but at least they won't go aggro more.
9. Keep heading east towards the paladins that Karlach wants to kill. Make sure to loot all the gnolls and hyenas. The ears make haste potions.
10. Enter the house far east and kill the guys Karlach wants dead, try to kill the paladin first, he hits like a truck.
11. Head back to where you killed the hyenas, then go up the hill to the north to kill the first group of gnolls.
12. Keep going further northeast to find Flind and the boys outside a cave attacking some humans.
13. Kill the gnolls, if they give you a chance, convince them to kill the humans, then themselves, otherwise just do it yourself.

Helping the Zentarim

14. Pickup the caravan chest inside.
15. Head back to Waukeen's Rest and to the Zentarim hideout in the back.
16. Talk to Brem, get Oscar free.
17. Talk to Zarys, give her the chest. This opens up more options in Brem's shop. I got the Titan String longbow for Astarion since his strength is high, but it's up to you; he doesn't shoot a ton throughout the game.
18. At this point, my party was level 5. Astarion has extra attack, Lae'zel has haste, and Shadowheart has Spirit Guardians. You should start to feel a bit stronger!
